Technology

The most popular method for 3D printing is Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). This type of technology consists of depositing of layer upon layer of thermoplastic material thus creating the three dimensional object.

Material

PLA (polylactic acid)

PLA is the most commonly used material for 3D printing. It is easy to use, provides high quality of the printed surface and works for different types of 3D printed applications.

Requirements

  • File format: .STL или .OBJ
  • Volume of the printed object: min. 10x10x10 mm / max. 185x190x230 mm
  • Wall thickness: min. 1,0 mm
  • Minimum space required between parts of the printed object: min. 0,4 mm
  • Engraving: min. thickness of the deposited line 1.0 mm / min. depth 0,5 mm

Resolution

  • 0,30 mm - Rough resolution
  • 0,20 mm - Standard resolution
  • 0,15 mm - Median resolution
  • 0,10 mm - Fine resolution
